Taylors Bulbs Tulip 'Robbedoes' 6

Named after a spiky-haired Belgian comic character, Tulip 'Robbedoes' is every bit as flamboyant: fiery red, deeply fringed and pointed petals give it a wild, frayed silhouette quite unlike a typical tulip. Standing tall at around 55cm, it makes a real statement in borders and cut-flower displays, and pairs brilliantly with other vibrant spring colours. Flowering in early to mid-spring, plant bulbs in autumn in well-drained soil, in a sunny to partially shaded spot.
