Taylors Bulbs Tulip 'Bojangles' (7)
A striking Triumph tulip with creamy white petals boldly flamed in cherry pink and fuchsia, Tulip 'Bojangles' brings real drama to spring beds, borders and containers. A sister variety to the ever-popular 'Flaming Flag', its sturdy, medium-height stems reach around 30-40cm, making it equally at home massed in a border or gathered for a vase indoors — and it's one of the few tulips prized for a soft, sweet fragrance too.
Plant the bulbs in autumn at a depth of 10-15cm in well-drained soil, spacing them roughly 10-15cm apart. 'Bojangles' flowers in mid-to-late spring and performs best in full sun, though it will tolerate a little light shade. As with all tulips, the bulbs are harmful if eaten, so keep them out of reach of pets and children during planting, and deadhead once flowering finishes to keep energy going back into the bulb.
