Ranunculus flammula 1Ltr

A British native, creeping marginal perennial with narrow, spear-shaped, red-flushed leaves, producing masses of small, bright yellow, buttercup-like flowers from May to August. The sprawling stems root as they creep, forming a dense mat and reaching around 15-30cm in height.

Perfect for the pond edge or bog garden, lesser spearwort thrives in still or slow-moving water 15-22cm deep, or in reliably wet, boggy soil, in full sun or partial shade. It's a valuable nectar source for bees, butterflies and hoverflies, and provides good cover for pond wildlife.
