Myosotis scorpioides 1L

A charming British native perennial with a low, spreading habit, reaching around 30cm in height. From May to September it produces sprays of dainty sky-blue flowers with golden eyes, opening from distinctive pink-tinged buds, above semi-evergreen green foliage.

A superb choice for wildlife ponds, bog gardens and water margins, water forget-me-not thrives in wet soil or shallow water up to 10cm deep, in full sun or partial shade. It's a valuable plant for pollinators and provides shelter for pond life, including newts, which use the leaves to encase their eggs in spring.
