Hypericum 'Miracle Blizz' – commonly known as St John's Wort – is a compact, bushy shrub with a lovely twist: it bears both flowers and berries at the same time. Bright, cup-shaped golden-yellow flowers with prominent central stamens appear from early summer into autumn, set off beautifully by small, glossy dark green foliage, while creamy-white berries develop alongside the blooms, gradually turning black as they fully ripen.

Forming a neat, rounded mound, this semi-evergreen variety reaches a height and spread of around 1m, making it a versatile choice for a sunny border or as a specimen in a container on the patio. Its long-lasting berried stems are also much prized by florists for cut flower arrangements.
