Carex grayi 1ltr

A distinctive clump-forming sedge grown for its arching, glossy green foliage and unusual star-shaped seed heads, which mature from pale green to chocolate-brown and persist well into winter. Height and spread of around 60-80cm.

Morning Star Sedge is happiest in moist to wet, well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade, making it a good choice for pond margins, rain gardens, bog gardens, or damp borders. It's semi-evergreen and low maintenance, needing only a tidy-up of old foliage in early spring.
