Alisma parviflora 1ltr

A compact, smaller alternative to the native water plantain, forming a neat rosette of rounded, spoon-shaped leaves. Tall, branching stems rise above the foliage from summer, carrying airy sprays of small white to pale pink flowers that attract bees and other pollinators. A lovely choice for pond margins and boggy areas, helping to stabilise pond edges while adding wildlife value to the water garden. Reaches 20–60cm in height with a spread of up to 50cm at maturity. Best planted in wet soil or shallow water up to 15–20cm deep, in full sun to partial shade.
