Acorus gramineus variegatus 1L

A compact, semi-evergreen marginal perennial forming tidy, tufted clumps of narrow, grassy leaves striped in green and creamy white. Insignificant greenish flower spikes may appear from late spring into early summer, but it's really grown for its neat, aromatic foliage — sweetly fragrant when bruised. Trouble-free and low maintenance, it's a lovely way to add texture and gentle movement around pond edges, bog gardens or damp borders. Reaches around 25–30cm in height and spread. Grows well in full sun to light shade, in reliably moist to boggy soil or shallow water up to 5cm deep.
